Well done to our award winners!
Best Speaker Award was presented to Robin Musonza. Maxine Nokuthula Thanjekwayoreceived the Best Table Topics Award and
it was unanimously agreed that the Best Evaluator was Hilmarie Stephenson.
The theme for the evening was “Great Movies”, with Avien Pillay as our Toastmaster. Speakers included Warren Frost, Robin Musonza and Cynthia Kanyenze.
Speech evaluators Meekness Lunga and Hilmarie Stephenson encouraged the speakers and presented feedback to the speakers on how to improve the speeches. The meeting was supported was Pamela Moore and Tess Gadd as the Timekeeper and Table Topic Master respectively.
Who will be the next President?
It is now time for Ernst & Young members to vote for the next committee. Ernst & Young Toastmasters is growing with more and more members joining. Therefore an assistant will also be nominated to support each role.
Roles available include:
– Vice President of Education
-Vice President of Membership
– Vice President of Finances
-Vice President of Public Relations
– Sergeant at Arms
It has been said that “By regularly giving speeches, gaining feedback, leading teams and guiding others to achieve their goals in a supportive atmosphere, leaders emerge from the Toastmasters program”
