The best way to become familiar with the club is to visit us as a guest!
Visitors are welcome to attend our club meetings free of charge. You also don’t have to participate in any of the proceedings. First-timers need only observe as we all know that public speaking can be a nerve-wracking experience. And you won’t be alone, many newcomers frequent club meetings.
Meeting dates can be found in our events calendar or on our Facebook page. Generally, we hold our meetings on the first Tuesday and third Thursday of each month at Ernst & Young Offices in Cape Town (3rd Floor, 3 Dock Road, Waterfront). Please arrive at 18:00 for guest orientation.
If you want to improve your public speaking and/or leadership skills, you’ll want to attend a Toastmasters meeting. If you find that you like what you see and want to become an active participant, email firstname.lastname@example.org to join. We’ll take you through the process.
Can I attend more than one meeting without being a member?
Yes, you can visit as many times as you like until you feel comfortable enough to take the next step and join.
Only fully fledged members can make speeches and participate in Toastmaster roles.
